Sustainability Manager

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy aligned with organizational goals, including identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track sustainability initiatives;
• Stay updated on environmental regulations and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure organizational compliance.;
• Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to raise awareness and support for sustainability initiatives, and fostering relationships with community partners, NGOs, and regulatory bodies;
• Assess environmental impact of organizational activities and implement measures to minimize footprint;
• Identify opportunities to enhance resource efficiency and minimize waste, implementing programs to optimize energy, water, and material usage;
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee understanding of sustainability goals and promote a culture of sustainability throughout the organization;
• Collaborate with suppliers to promote sustainable practices and select environmentally responsible suppliers;
• Prepare and publish sustainability reports, and maintain accurate records of sustainability initiatives and performance;
• Research and recommend innovative technologies and practices to enhance sustainability efforts, while staying informed about industry best practices and emerging trends;
• Integrate sustainability across various business areas and provide guidance on sustainable decision-making processes.

We are looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Business Administration, or Engineering;
• Proven experience in a sustainability-focused role;
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills;
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and use data to drive sustainability initiatives;
• Industry experience will be a plus.
