Maintenance Technician

San Adrián, Spain

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production lines and industrial installations;
  • Support production through line adjustments and format changeovers;
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, electromechanical and automation breakdowns;
  • Work with electrical systems, PLCs, sensors, drives and industrial automation equipment;
  • Participate in continuous improvement, digitalisation and process optimization projects;
  • Register technical incidents and support root cause analysis;
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency;
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality and company standards.

We Are Looking For:

  • Technical degree or vocational training in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics or similar;
  • Proven experience in industrial production environments;
  • Solid knowledge of industrial electricity and a good understanding of automation systems;
  • Experience in diagnosing and resolving electrical breakdowns;
  • Ability to work autonomously, with a problem-solving mindset;
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams;
  • Availability to work rotating shifts (morning/afternoon);
  • Residence in the San Adrián area or willingness to commute.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with PLCs, variable frequency drives and servomotors;
  • Participation in continuous improvement or technical projects;
  • Experience in the metalworking or metal packaging industry (3-piece cans);
  • Knowledge of ERP systems.
