Maintenance Supervisor

Vale de Cambra, Portugal

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

  •  Supervise and coordinate the activities of preventive and corrective maintenance of facilities, encompassing buildings, equipment, electrical systems, compressed air networks, gas, and HVAC, as well as monitoring and controlling the water in boreholes and cooling towers;
  • Comply with and monitor Legionella control procedures, in accordance with applicable legislation and standards, including conducting regular water analyses and maintaining updated records;
  •  Establish and maintain relationships with service, maintenance, and cleaning suppliers, in addition to ensuring compliance with contracts and ensuring conformity with agreed terms;
  • Optimise available resources and identify cost reduction opportunities;
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in infrastructure operations, with the aim of increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and promoting environmental sustainability;
  •  Prepare periodic reports on infrastructure activities, as well as maintaining technical documentation updated and in compliance with regulations.

We are looking for:

  • 12th year of school or CET;
  • Proven experience in the role or similar areas;
  • Knowledge of safety standards, building regulations, and best practices in facility management;
  • Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure;
  • Knowledge of SAP tool (preferable);
  • Initiative and dynamism;
  • Results-oriented mindset.
