Environment Specialist
Vale de Cambra, Portugal
Main Activities and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate activities related to waste management;
- Assist in the implementation of monitoring plans (Waste, Air Emissions, Wastewater, Drinking Water, Indicators);
- Conduct operational audits through visits to areas/factories, including permanent subcontractors;
- Assist in the preparation of the Management Review Report regarding Environmental matters;
- Manage findings within the Environmental Management System (non-conformities, corrective actions, and improvement actions), ensuring proper follow-up and effectiveness evaluation;
- Assist in identifying applicable legal requirements (environmental) and assessing their relevance to Colep Packaging activities;
- Support the delivery of internal training actions according to the approved Annual Training Plan and identified needs from the factories.
We are looking for:
- Degree in Engineering, preferably in Environmental Engineering;
- Training in ISO 14001 Standard;
- Training in environmental legal requirements;
- Knowledge of English;
- Strong sense of responsibility;
- Good communication skills and interpersonal abilities;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Results – oriented.
